The Zoe Foundation: Atrial Fibrillation Awareness

The Zoe Foundation: Atrial Fibrillation Awareness Video Clips. Duration : 3.95 Mins.

www.zfforaf.com Atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib) is an irregular heart rhythm originating in the top chambers of the heart, called atria, and often causes a rapid heart rate with ineffective contractions of the lower chambers of the heart, called ventricles. The pumping efficiency of the heart is reduced by about 20% in the presence of AF alone. This explains the shortness of breath and fatigue that is often associated with AF.

Atrial Fibrillation Explained

Atrial Fibrillation Explained Tube. Duration : 0.97 Mins.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common sustained arrhythmia seen in clinical practice, affecting more than 6 million people in Europe, up to 5.1 million people in the US and more than 800000 people in Japan. Atrial fibrillation is associated with a major risk of stroke, caused by a thrombus that forms within the left atrium and embolises to block a cerebral artery. The degree of stroke risk and the need for anticoagulant therapy to lower this risk varies among patients with AF. More info and references: www.thrombosisadviser.com

Cayenne Pepper and Heart health - Is Cayenne a Cure For Heart Disease?

Cayenne pepper is one of the most marvelous and beneficial herbs known to mankind, but unfortunately very few know of its efficacy. Cayenne pepper and heart health should be synonymous for anything with heart disease or cardiovascular issues but it is not. Due to the power and might of Big Pharma and their unholy alliance with the United States government, many Americans are plainly unaware of natural herbs that can dramatically enhance their heart health.

"If this is true, then why haven't the masses heard of it?" you may ask. A fair question. In a word, money. Really billions of dollars have been spent on heart disease care and research, not to mention the billions on pharmaceutical drugs fighting cholesterol.

Afib Stroke

In fact, the number-one-selling drug in the Us is Lipitor -- ostensibly sold to sacrifice cholesterol and by extension heart disease. Cayenne could eliminate all that and that is why the medical preparation doesn't want citizen to know about it.

Cayenne Pepper and Heart health - Is Cayenne a Cure For Heart Disease?

Before discussing the benefits of cayenne pepper and heart health however, let's consider the effect of the billions that have been "invested" in the name of curing heart disease for if there is one fundamental criterion by which government and medical institutional spending should be judged, it should be by the results.

According to a May 25th, 2006 record by the Bbc, heart disease is the biggest killer in the United Kingdom. Over the pond in the United States, the National Heart Foundation says, "Coronary heart disease is the particular many cause of death for both men and women in the Us, eclipsing all other causes, including cancer and lung diseases. Every year more than 479,000 Americans die of coronary heart disease."

Clearly, the current allopathic (traditional Western medicine) arrival is lacking.

The unholy collusion between government, pharmaceutical interests and institutional medicine, with its marvelous financial influence, pervades nearly every facet of society. Homeopathic medicine is not only derided but persecuted and even criminalized while allopathic medicine is deified as the only way to health.

In reality, the joining of the best of allopathic and homeopathic interventions would be ideal, but for that to happen, results would have to be the final arbiter as to an intervention's effectiveness, not corporate and governmental interests.

Background Info

So, what is cayenne? You probably identify its name as a potent condiment often used in cooking, but its value lies well beyond its culinary uses. It is an herb that is nothing short of amazing.

It is a multi-talented herb that is also known, although obliquely so, as African red pepper, American red pepper, Spanish pepper, capsicum, and bird pepper. Cayenne is derived from two connected plants. Specifically, the American range (Capsicum minimum) is marvelous from its African counterpart the African birdseye cayenne (Capsicum fastigiatum) although both are very beneficial to man. The African birdseye cayenne is the most pungent with small, yellowish red pods while the American range is marvelous with its herb-sized plants and larger fruit or pods.

The food value of cayenne is known, of course, but its real value is as a healthful and nutritional herb. Its medical uses comprise using it for wounds, heart disease, heart attacks, heart problems at large, ulcers, congestion, colds, chills, bleeding of the lungs, neuralgia, lumbago, hemorrhage, hemorrhoids, high and low blood pressure, indigestion, and kidney and connected problems. (This is by no means a wide list as to the herb's effectiveness.)

Cayenne is a stimulant and as such is an activator, carrier, and accentuator to other herbs as well. Still, it can and should be used by itself. Let's discuss now some of those ancillary uses before we talk in depth about capsicum and heart health.

Cayenne pepper anti-fungal properties are tangible although this is not its traditional health benefit. It has been shown in some studies to be active against collectotrichum and phomopsis, both of which are fungal pathogens. These leading fungal pathogens sway strawberries and other fruits and are not directly connected to humans per se.

However, cayenne immune principles benefits are of interest to researchers. Currently, it is being studied by many nutritional supplement fellowships for its therapeutic and nutritional benefits. If you desire a natural anti-fungal aid, garlic is favorite over cayenne for garlic has long been known for its anti-fungal properties. (In Russia, it has long been called "the Russian penicillin.")

Health Benefits of Cayenne Pepper

Capsicum increases metabolism by immediately influencing the venous structure. It is marvelous with its immediate effects on the circulatory principles as it feeds the vital elements into the cell structure of capillaries, veins, arteries and helps adjust blood pressure to general levels. Yes, cayenne pepper for high blood pressure is Really one of its core uses, but it cleans the arteries as well.

It also stimulates the peristaltic request for retrial of the intestines and aids in assimilation and elimination. When taken internally, it warms the body and has even been used by some herbalist doctors to help severe frostbite as cayenne not only facilitates the medical of the flesh but it helps rebuild tissue as well.

Notwithstanding its hot taste, it is superb for rebuilding the tissue in the stomach for it Really facilitates rapid medical with stomach and intestinal ulcers. Capsicum for ulcers is not something most would have determined due to its native calidity but the author can testify to this aspect of this wonder herb.

Its Dramatic Effects

Dr. John Christopher, the famed natural herbalist, was persecuted relentlessly by the government while assisting patients in curing cancer, heart disease, pleurisy, tuberculosis, infertility, rheumatism, leukemia, and other maladies. One of his many stories in his long career was how he could abruptly stop a heart assault if he could get the sick person to drink a glass of warm cayenne water. In his writings, he said, "A teaspoon of cayenne should bring the sick person out of the heart attack."

(While this is not directly connected to heart health, with internal hemorrhaging, if the sick person can drink a glass of extra warm water with cayenne, Dr. Christopher wrote, "...by the count of ten the bleeding will stop. Instead of all the pressure being centralized, it is equalized and the clotting becomes more rapid.")

Perhaps now you can see why cayenne is regarded as a "miracle herb." With over 700,000 Americans experiencing a stroke each year and approximately half a million dying of heart disease, the cure to a healthy heart is as close as your local grocery store. The cayenne detoxification drink, when taken religiously, will dramatically enhance your heart health as well as your venous structure.

Side Effects of Cayenne Pepper

What are the side effects of cayenne pepper? What are its bad points? Well, it is Really hot to the taste. Drinking what the author calls the cayenne detoxification drink is not for the faint of heart (on second idea maybe it is!). When starting to drink the cayenne pepper detoxification drink, it tends to come out of the body's orifices with a burning sensation.

Not to worry, though. It is very beneficial. In fact, capsicum will help clear up hemorrhoids if taken commonly -- especially if the hemorrhoid sufferer changes their diet to one more rich in fiber.

To mitigate its heat, the author suggests starting with just a half a teaspoon of cayenne in a glass of eight ounces of lukewarm water (or even less if desired). Have another glass of just water around as drinking cold water after the cayenne drink will help mitigate the calidity of the drink's after effects. Yes, you can take it in capsule form but its effects won't be immediate the way it would be by direct application.

There are also some who recommend combining lemon water and cayenne for fast metabolism. (There are also some who think that a composition of cayenne lemon fat burn facilitates adipose loss. That is debatable, but drinking a concoction of lemon water and cayenne for fast metabolism is Really more palatable.)

Drinking the capsicum detoxification drink daily will yield noticeable benefits, and the body will acclimate very quickly to its native heat. Within a month or two, you will be able to drink a tablespoon of capsicum without too much discomfort.

Yes, you could go on a cayenne fruit diet, but drinking it is easier and more convenient. One last comment: no requisite side effects have been reported. Of course, taking too much of anything is not healthy, a problem never Really attributed to cayenne due to its heat. In terms of health side effects, there are none. As with all things, though, use with discretion and wisdom.

Conclusion

If you are involved about your heart health, or if you are suffering from heart ailments, cayenne should be a daily staple in your diet. This imaginable herb is a wonder and can tremendously sway your health. Cayenne is one of the many health secrets in the world.

Cayenne Really is a great condiment, used with panache by great cooks and chefs, but its true value lies in its healthful qualities. Slowly and surely, its marvelous benefits are gaining awareness by a public becoming increasingly disenchanted by traditional medicine's non-causal approach. maybe now you can see why cayenne is a prince among herbs.

Vitamin K Rich Foods

People that are on blood thinning or anticoagulant drugs after a stroke or surgery should limit intake of Vitamin K rich foods. Because Vitamin K primarily promotes blood clotting, you should ask your doctor if you should eat more foods low in Vitamin K.

If you are looking to limit your daily of intake of Vitamin K rich foods, then you need to avoid discrete green and leafy vegetables. Here is a brief list of foods high in Vitamin K: broccoli, spinach, Swiss chard, turnip greens, mustard greens, kale, cabbage, or cauliflower. If those foods are not on your popular foods list, then you are all the better.

Afib Stroke

The role of Vitamin K in coagulation or clotting of the blood was one of the first known functions. Physicians typically designate blood thinners and anticoagulant drugs to patients after surgeries and strokes. Due to lack of corporal activity these patients are regularly at high risk for clotting particularly in the legs. As mentioned, Vitamin K legitimately plays an integral role in the synthesis of some proteins that regulate both, coagulation and anti coagulation of our blood. Therefore, some of the anticoagulant drugs have been designed to inhibit or compete with Vitamin K.

Vitamin K Rich Foods

Researchers are also looking at other side effects of drugs that inhibit vitamin K. As discussed earlier, Vitamin K has been shown to growth bone density in the elderly. Therefore elderly patients on anti-clotting drugs must also keep a watchful eye on their bone density.

Because of these dangers, habitancy on anticoagulant drugs should see their doctors regularly. Initially, it is foremost that the sick person is monitored so that the doctor is able to determine the proper dosage. Patients also need to be monitored when the use of the drug is discontinued, because it takes time for the body to restore the normal clotting ability.

The term Vitamin K legitimately refers to not only one, but to a group of fat soluble vitamins that are primary for the synthesis and modification of inescapable proteins that are mostly required for proper blood clotting. In fact, the "K" is legitimately from the German word for coagulation, spelled "Koagulation". Vitamin K has also been shown to inhibit fungal growth, and some studies show that it helps mouth strong bones in the elderly.

There are two natural forms. The first being Vitamin K1 is also known as phlloquinone. Vitamin K2, or menaquinone, is regularly produced by plainly occurring bacteria in the large intestines. In addition, there are three artificial forms, designated K3, K4, and K5.

Because Vitamin K can be legitimately found in foods and is also plainly produced by bacteria that line the gastrointestinal tract, cases of Vitamin K deficiency are very rare. However, it does occur. If you bruise or bleed easy, you may be deficient.

Vitamin K is such an integral part of proper clotting that many of the popular industry of rodent poisons have taken benefit of this knowledge. Many of the poisons are plainly Vitamin K antagonists that inhibit the recycling of Vitamin K in rodents. The rodents plainly die from Vitamin K deficiency and bleed to death. Some of the antagonists are so effective, that a single feeding of the poison, can not only kill the rodent, but also cause bleeding in animals, like a cat or dog, that eat the dead rodent.

Our chief source of Vitamin K is legitimately the synthesis by the bacteria plainly occurring in our intestinal lining. Therefore, in humans it is very difficult to become deficient, even with a low intake of dietary vitamin K. However, we can become deficient if the vitamin does not make it from our digestive tract to our blood stream. A tasteless cause of Vitamin K deficiency is liver disease.

The liver produces bile acids that are secreted into the small intestines where they play a primary role in absorption of lipids. These lipids are foremost because they are the vehicles by which Vitamin K is absorbed into our blood stream. Liver diseases that decrease the production of bile greatly reduce the absorption of Vitamin K, which lead to Vitamin K deficiency. No matter how much Vitamin K is yield in the gastrointestinal lining or ingested through diet, without proper bile production and lipid absorption, the body will become deficient. So that is one more good reason to take care of your liver.

Antibiotics, that are ingested to treat bacterial infections, not only kill harmful bacteria in our bodies, but also eliminate the good bacteria in our intestines that yield our Vitamin K. To help reestablish the bacteria in you intestines after a policy of antibiotics, it is often recommended that you eat yogurt with active cultures. There are also probiotic supplements that are ready at pharmacies and condition food stores.

We are continually learning more about Vitamin K. Foods high in Vitamin K should be avoided by habitancy taking blood thinners. Today, it is clear that Vitamin K is vital to our health. However, stay tuned as we continue to learn more and more about how exactly Vitamin K plays a role in our daily function and our long-term health.

What causes atrial fibrillation? Tube. Duration : 0.85 Mins.

Atrial fibrillation can be caused by a number of different things, but it's generally caused by something which stretches the upper two chambers of the heart. In particular, the left upper chamber of the heart. If it's subject to stress, if it's stretched, atrial fibrillation can occur. When the upper chambers of the heart are stretched, they become sort of ticklish and they start to quiver. So, patients who have atrial fibrillation will often times have high blood pressure or a leaky heart valve or a combination of those things and cause the upper chambers to become stretched and that's what causes atrial fibrillation. In many patients, atrial fibrillation occurs for unknown reasons. Those patients are called "lone atrial fibrillators."They have lone atrial fibrillation and in those patients, there is no obvious identifiable cause for A Fib. They just have it.

Atrial Fibrillation - Ayurvedic Herbal treatment

Atrial fibrillation (Af) is a health in which the upper two chambers of the heart, called the atria, beat chaotically and irregularly, resulting in an irregular and often rapid heart rate that causes poor blood flow to the body. The heart rate in Af may range from 100 to 175 beats a minute. Base symptoms contain palpitations, weakness, light-headedness, confusion, breathlessness and chest pain. Af can be either sporadic, in which case it is called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, or chronic. Potential causes of Af contain high blood pressure; heart attacks; old heart, lung or metabolic diseases; viral infections; sleep apnea; or exposure to stimulants such as medications, caffeine, tobacco and alcohol. Old age, a house history, a history of heart and other persisting conditions, and alcohol use are risk factors for Af. Atrial flap is very much similar to Af with respect to symptoms, causes and risk factors, but the heart rate in this health is much slower.

The approved medicine of Af is aimed at cardioversion - attempting to reset the heart rhythm back to normal - either with medicines, galvanic shock or surgery. Ayurvedic medicine for Af is indicated for those patients in whom approved methods have not been thriving or are not possible. The Ayurvedic medicine of Af is aimed at reducing or normalizing the heart rate, preventing recurrence and preventing complications like stroke and heart failure.

Afib Stroke

In order to reduce the heart rate, medicines like Bruhat-Vat-Chintamani, Maha-Laxmi-Vilas-Ras, Laxmi-Vilas-Ras, Suvarna-Bhasma, Abhrak-Bhasma and Shrung-Bhasma are used. These medicines are given in compound with herbal medicines which act on the heart muscle, such as Arjun (Terminalia arjuna), Tankan (Purified borax), Guggulu (Commiphora mukul), Draksha (Vitis vinifera), Triphala (Three fruits), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Khurasani-ova (Hyoscymus niger), Apamarga (Achyranthus aspera), Sarpagandha (Rauwolfia serpentina), Pippalimool (Piper longum) and Pushkarmool (Inula racemosa). The above mentioned medicines also help to reduce high blood pressure and normalize heart and lung pathology, to the extent Potential with medicines.

Medicines like Triphala (Three fruits), Trikatu (Three pungent herbs), Marich (Piper nigrum), Chitrak (Plumbago zeylanica), Bhallatak (Semicarpus anacardium), Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) and Harmal (Paganum harmala) are used to prevent or reduce the risk of blood clots and strokes. These medicines also act on the heart and normalize irregular heartbeat. Once the symptoms are controlled, medicines like Bruhat-Vat-Chintamani, Shrung-Bhasma, Chandrakala-Ras and Kamdudha-Ras can be given on a long term basis to prevent recurrence of Af.

Patients with Af need to adopt a wholesome lifestyle and eat wholesome food with a reduced salt intake. Cessation of smoking and avoiding alcohol is very important. Caution needs to be exercised when taking over-the-counter medications. Quarterly exercise and freedom techniques need to be adopted. All such patients should be under the Quarterly care and management of a Cardiologist.

When Does a Leaking Heart Valve Mean Heart Valve Surgery?

A leaking heart valve fortunately, does not all the time mean valve surgery. And, heart valve surgery, if it becomes necessary, does not all the time have to mean that you'll need an open-heart surgery.

In fact, most habitancy with a leaking valve disorder, are totally unaware of their valvular disease. Their mildly leaking valve condition goes undetected because it just never progresses to the point of needing treatment.

Afib Stroke

Symptoms which might indicate that your leaking heart valve also called valve regurgitation is worsening to the point of needing some form of medicine are: unexplained fatigue, shortness-of-breath especially when you exert yourself, heart palpitations, an awareness of your heart beat, fluttery or irregular heart beat, chest pain also referred to as angina, dizziness or fainting, and swollen ankles or feet.

When Does a Leaking Heart Valve Mean Heart Valve Surgery?

The heart valves are made to move your blood through your heart in one direction. When there is valve leakage, the valve leaflets fail to close properly, and some of the blood is regurgitated backwards in the wrong direction.

In severe heart valve leakage or regurgitation, the heart has to work much harder to re-pump the blood back through your heart and into your body. This "over-work" causes enlargement of the heart.

If you begin to consideration that your general everyday activities are tiring you out, and you're experiencing one or more of the symptoms we've already mentioned, it may be time for you to visit your doctor or cardiologist.

For example, do you consideration that walking up your drive to the mail box is exhausting, or maybe just bending over to take clothes from the dryer causes chest pain, or do you palpate breathlessness just from being outdoors the heat? These could all be signs of heart valve disease.

Your Gp can listen to your heart with a stethoscope. Often, just listening to your heart can tell your doctor if you have a heart murmur. Depending upon the severity of the murmur he or she hears, your Gp may refer you to a cardiologist.

The cardiologist's prognosis will probably comprise one or more of the following tests:

- an electrocardiogram (Ecg), a test that measures the electrical action of your heart to see how well it is working
- an echocardiogram, an ultrasound scan that produces a photograph of the inside of your heart - a chest X-ray - a heart cath, a small tube (catheter) is threaded up to your heart through an artery - usually in your groin. A dye that shows up on X-rays is injected into your blood stream and X-rays are taken to produce an image of the blood flowing through your heart - a cardiac Ct scan that uses X-rays to make a three-dimensional image of your heart.

If these tests show that your have a severely leaking heart valve, then, you will probably want some form of heart surgery. When possible, heart valve fix surgical operation is all the time preferable to valve exchange surgical operation because your own heart tissue is being used to make the repair; however, if you need a valve replacement, the artificial and pig valves are overwhelmingly successful.

As of this writing, the only approved choice for treating severely leaking heart valves is open-heart surgical operation with heart-lung bypass. But, if your problem is a leaking mitral valve, you just might be in luck, some 30 hospitals across North America are now participating in an Fda-approved clinical study of an experimental gismo for repairing a leaking mitral valve, which does Not want open-heart surgery.

This is truly consuming news! Amazingly, this minimally invasive policy can fix a leaking mitral heart valve while the heart is still beating. In this Fda-approved clinical study, an experimental gismo and policy use a catheter inserted into a vein in the groin.

Reducing the Risk of Stroke in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation

Reducing the Risk of Stroke in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation Video Clips. Duration : 52.92 Mins.

To receive credit, visit: freece.com Program Overview Approximately 75000 strokes occur each year in the United States in patients with atrial fibrillation. Current guidelines recommend oral anticoagulation for high-risk patients with atrial fibrillation, but the inherent limitations of these agents lead to substantial underuse. This state of affairs has stimulated the development of new agents with improved benefit-risk profiles, which appear to be offer a wider therapeutic margin and low potential for drug interactions, allowing more convenient dosing without anticoagulation monitoring. Pharmacists must understand the underlying condition, possible comorbid conditions, potential of currently available treatment options (along with their probable results and possible side effects) and play an active role in educating patients on their drug treatment strategies and lifestyle changes necessary to reduce the risk of stroke in atrial fibrillation. Nurse Educational Objectives Identify the under-recognized risk of stroke and/or inadequate prophylaxis in patients with atrial fibrillation and the associated morbidity, mortality, and cost burdens Discuss current and potential new challenges and opportunities in stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation Outline strategies to improve communication between pharmacists and patients/caregivers about the benefits and risks of anticoagulation therapy Pharmacist Educational Objectives Identify the under-recognized risk of stroke and/or ...

The Meaning of Abnormal Ekg Results

Many physicians suggest Ekgs as a preventive-screening tool for those with a house history of heart disease. While a wholesome person does not need an Ekg as a part of an annual exam, many physicians will suggest an Ekg if they have concerns. If a outpatient complains of chest pain, palpitations or other indicators of heart problems, the physician will likely suggest an immediate Ekg test. Depending on the severity of the situation, your physician may refer you to a local testing center immediately or ask you to schedule the next ready appointment.

An abnormal Ekg is thought about by comparing the results of your Ekg graph with a accepted or normal heart graph. Spikes and dips within the graph are referred to as P, Qr and Pr and other similar acronyms. normal Ekg readings show a limited flat-dip in in the middle of contractions and relaxations. If these flat-dips are not present, it may be an indication of a more serious problem. normal Ekg readings will have spikes and dips too.

Afib Stroke

Myocardial defects, heart valve disease, enlargement of the heart, inflammation of the heart, coronary artery disease, and past, pending or impending heart attacks are only a few of the problems that Ekg's can help to detect. The conditions in which the Ekg is performed can also have an impact on the accuracy of the results. Some heart problems are not present all of the time and therefore may not appear in Ekg results. In cases where heart problems are suspected but not detected on the Ekg, a Holter monitor may be recommended. This monitor is worn, normally for a period of 24 to 48 hours and serves as a type of mini-Ekg test. The outpatient wears the monitor at home and it continuously records heart activity. Doctors also suggest that the outpatient be relaxed during the exam because any muscle trembling or contractions can alter the results and produce an inaccurate reading.

The Meaning of Abnormal Ekg Results

Many habitancy are surprised to learn that they have had an abnormal Ekg reading. What is even more surprising is that when presented with abnormal Ekg results, some doctors do not seem concerned. It doe not necessarily mean they are inadequate or uncaring physicians, it is more likely they believe something else has caused the abnormal reading. Most will want to pursue further testing or other Ekg. Sometimes an event as uncomplicated as low blood sugar can have an altering influence and produce false Ekg readings. Other times, abnormal Ekgs require further testing to conclude what, if any, problems genuinely exist.

The most common form of arrhythmia, ATRIAL FIBRILLATION (A-fib) affects some 2 million Americans each year. This interruption in the regular heartbeat impairs the heart's ability to perform effectively, and can result in stroke, congestive heart failure or cardiomyopathy. Origins of the disorder are not clearly understood, but chances of developing it increase with age. When medications and other conventional interventions fail to restore a normal heartbeat, radiofrequency ablation is a leading option. Blood Pressure Causes - What Makes it Go Up Or Down?

Your blood pressure does not remain static. That is, the measurement will not be the exact same thing every time you take it, no matter what. Instead, your blood pressure (Bp) is affected by a huge range of things that can raise or lower it at any given time. Even standing up can convert your (Bp) reading, which is why you are practically always seated when a nurse or doctor takes your (Bp).

Smoking a cigarette will have an immediate influence on your hypertensive state - it will raise for about ten to fifteen minutes right after you smoke it. Long term tobacco use can damage the walls of the blood vessels resulting in a restricted blood flow which will raise the pressure all the time.

Afib Stroke

Stress can cause hypertension to go up. Normally once you relax, your levels would go back to normal but it's never a good thing to be under constant stress. If you have a tendency towards hypertension due to other factors already, you in fact need to find a way to whether deal with or avoid stress as much as you can.

Blood Pressure Causes - What Makes it Go Up Or Down?

Medications can often influence the pressure in your blood and not just the ones that are supposed to. Some medications, such as coumadin, that thin the blood can lower your blood pressure which is why it is leading to monitor the pressure levels of your blood Normally when you are on this type of medication.

Fluid holding can cause a hypertensive state. Often this is caused by too much salt in the diet. When the sodium levels in your blood go up, that causes the body to hold fluid. Anything who is worried about their risk of hypertension would do well to watch their sodium intake.

Anxiety attack Vs. Heart attack Find Out How To Tell The difference

Each year thousands of people rush to the accident room with complaints of chest pains, shortness of breath, and nausea.

Most, if not all, think they are having a heart attack. Once tests are completed they find out their heart is fine.

Afib Stroke

What they've experienced is an anxiety attack. The symptoms of an anxiety attack vs. Heart attack can be very similar.

Anxiety attack Vs. Heart attack Find Out How To Tell The difference

How can you tell the difference?

Anxiety attack vs. Heart attack?

Truthfully it is not all the time easy to tell the difference. Both an anxiety attack and a heart attack can cause increased heart rate and even irregular heartbeats.

Learning to distinguish the unlikeness between the two is difficult for most people. Either type of attack can cause pain and pain.

The Heart Races Anxiety or Heart Attack?

Approximately eighty percent of people having anxiety attacks have a rapid or irregular heart rate. Many of these people think they are on the verge of having a heart attack.

They will complain that their heart is racing, or beating much too fast. In most cases if rapid heart rate is not accompanied by severe pain its an anxiety attack.

While heart rate will change during a heart attack, the more coarse indication of illness that is not usually present with an anxiety attach is extreme pain. Pain in the town of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes is one sign of a heart attack.

Upper body parts can also perceive pain during the beginning of a heart attack. This includes both arms, the neck, the jaw, or the stomach.

This pain may come and go.

Those experiencing an anxiety attack don't usually have the severe pain of a heart attack victim.

Another coarse occurrence with an anxiety attack is rapid breathing. Sometimes the someone feeling the rapid breathing will think they can't breathe.

In truth all they need to do is to reminder their self to take a deep breathe and self-regulate their breathing.

This can be very difficult to accomplish in the midst of a strong anxiety attack. Shortness of breath is someone else early sign of a heart attack.

It can occur with or without chest pain. Cold sweat, nausea, and lightheadedness can also be present in the beginning of a heart attack.

There is no association between anxiety attacks and heart attacks other than the symptoms of both feel so much alike.

Often the someone in the midst of an anxiety attack does not think clearly. They become much less rational and therefore it can be hard to convince them they are not having a heart attack.

Remember, the level of pain, the areas of pain, and the type of breathing is usually similar, yet different in a heart attack and an anxiety attack.

Medical evaluation is the only way to rule the unlikeness during an attack. After the attack the someone with an anxiety attack will return to normal and have no symptoms.

That's not usually the case with a heart attack.

All medical professionals advise that if you're not sure what's happening you should seek medical attention immediately.

While it may be embarrassing to find out there's nothing wrong except being anxious its great to get checked out.

Anxiety attack Vs. Heart attack Find Out How To Tell The differenceWhat causes atrial fibrillation?

Atrial Fibrillation: Cardioversion

Atrial Fibrillation: Cardioversion Tube. Duration : 2.50 Mins.

www.nucleusinc.com This 3D animation shows how an abnormal heart rhythm, such as atrial fibrillation (a-fib or afib), can be restored with electrical cardioversion. This animation shows normal heart rhythm with electrical signals that originate at the SA node. A heart with abnormal signals and atrial fibrillation is shown forming a blood clot which results in a stroke. Next, the steps of the cardioversion procedure are illustrated: the placement of EKG electrodes, the placement of cardioversion paddles, the delivery of shock to the chest and heart, and the restoration of normal electrical signals within the heart.

Natural Substitutes For Beta Blockers

Beta-Adrenergic Blockers are medicines that are used for patients with high blood pressure. But like any other rehabilitation even these have various adverse effects and that is why habitancy as well the doctors and scientists are now looking for natural replacements and substitutes of these beta blockers. For instance, habitancy who have asthma are not given beta blockers and so those with asthma undoubtedly need a rehabilitation that is made up of natural products and do not have side effects or at least effects that are life-threatening or the ones that get far too serious. If a sick person is taking some other medicines along with the beta blocker then chances are that the beta blocker will interact with the other drugs and thus cause side effects.

Now what the beta blockers do is it blocks some the adrenalin effects and thus keeps the blood pressure in control. Passionflower is an herbal plant that works as a strong and effective freedom as well. It truly has no side effects. It is as good as many other anxiety cure medicines and this is medially proved. The capsules and tinctures of passionflower can be found in the health food stores.

Afib Stroke

Chamomile tea is also a very preponderant freedom remedy. It has been used by habitancy all over the world for a long time now. Just one cup suffices to keep the blood pressure in our body in control. The tea needs to be fragrant and fresh in order to work effectively and so the someone who buys it should check that out.

Natural Substitutes For Beta Blockers

The right breathing exercises all the time work as anxiety cures and therefore they help control the blood pressure and thus block the harmful effects of the adrenalin. While holding the back level and thus sitting in an upright position one has to place the tip of the tongue just behind the upper front teeth and then exhale straight through the mouth. After emptying the lungs the air is to be taken in straight through the nose while counting four mentally. Then the breath is to be hold until you count seven. This enter cycle needs to be repeated for about fifteen minutes.

But there are herbal medications that claim to be natural and also a substitute of the beta blockers are not safe to use. These drugs are not approved by the doctors or the scientists and are not prescribed by them either. These herbal remedies are known as over-the-counter drugs and can not be fully trusted. Very few of the natural medicines are proved to be effective at all to stop heart failure or even to be able to keep the blood pressure in control.

There are a few natural remedies that are prescribed and promoted for various cardiovascular conditions. Like, L-arginine which is among the best known of all the natural substitutes for a heart condition. This rehabilitation is quite promising but the real consequent of it is still not clear. The law in which is works shows that it should work wonderfully. The long term benefits are approximately known but as it is natural and therefore safe to use, patients do choose to try it out for themselves.

Pomegranate juice is another health drink that is a natural remedy for a heart condition. It has got a lot of polyphenols that work as anti-oxidants. But it is been said that relying solely on this juice as a cure for a heart qoute or for controlling high blood pressure is not a very good idea. This juice is natural and wholesome and therefore safe but needs to be assisted by other medication to cure cardiovascular problems.

Those are only a few strategies of many to help you lower and even successfully take control of your high blood pressure.

More straightforward yet superior strategies and step-by-step instructions about what to do and how to do it right, you can find in a special report by Samuel Baron "Natural rehabilitation For Hypertension".
